A little bit about Mrs. Pinn....
Mrs. Angela Pinn is a native of Amherst County. She attended Liberty University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, a Master’s degree in Special Education, and an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She earned her graduate professional endorsement for Supervision and Leadership K-12 through Longwood University in August 2020.
Mrs. Pinn began her educational career as an instructional assistant with Amherst County Public Schools from 2008-2011. She then continued her educational career as a special education teacher in Prince Edward County and Lynchburg City Schools. Mrs. Pinn returned to the ACPS family in 2014, accepting a position as a special education teacher at Madison Heights Elementary School. She served at MHES for six years as a special education teacher and taught grades K, 2, 3, and 5. While at MHES, Mrs. Pinn served as the Coordinator of the Before and After School Tutoring Program for three years and the Intervention and Support Team Chair for two years.
In 2020, Mrs. Pinn transitioned into her role as the Dean of Students at Monelison Middle School. She is a proud graduate of Amherst County High School and a member of the United Cherokee Tribe of Virginia. In her leisure time, she enjoys fishing and spending time with her family.
